I had this issue before and the cause was very odd.

My favourites had a link to the mobile phones forum, however the link was not quite normal to accessing the board from the forum directly. Everytime i clicked on my favourite i was logged out, very weird but updating my favourite to the proper URL fixed it.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies

  • I am on IE and having this problem since Saturday night, twice when I logged in I got the "wrong login details" box come up, but when I cleared it, I was logged in, and at the moment, this time I logged in, it asked me to log in, but as I was planning on just lurking I never bothered, however when I navigated to the page I wanted to read, I was logged in but it says the last time I was logged in was 9.58pm last night, I have been logged in and on and off the site since 6.30am.

  • Please try clearing your cookies. This may resolve the problem.

  • I've just come back on, after having IE closed for about an hour and a half, and it has logged me in as normal. MSE is set as my homepage, but my homepage is going to MSN which is the default one, however when I click on the Home symbol it brings me here. I cleared my cookies yesterday as I thought that was the problem, and it made no difference. I will do so again the next time I shut the machine down.
