I saved a whopping £34.50 in the Body Shop today (over 50% of my total bill) thanks to some amazing deals and the Love My Body discounts.
Because of the deals available, I got a few bits that'll be part of a few Christmas presents as well as my usual bits and pieces.

Evening all! Would love to join this month - starting with the £5 per day challenge.
Hello mummies at home with kids - echo your sentiments/signatures and great to meet some like-minded people!
1st hurdle is tomorrow's shopping - with vouchers I should save £38.80 in 1 shop (last time I saved £25 which was around a third of the shopping!), get 2 free Bounty packs and save £1 in another shop! Got a book of 6 1st class stamps today for a lost letter.
Have just cleared out my bedroom and my kids room so will consider a short return to ebay perhaps...
Am very inspired by everyone's posts so far!
So if all goes well... I'm on £42.26 after the shopping trip, maybe more if the items I need to buy have promotions on!I've got nothing else but I've got my family.

A heart-felt thanks once again for your holiday comments - I feel a lot more positive & have lots of great ideas to look into. I'm going to view the remaining weeks of the school holiday as a challenge - maximum enjoyment for minimum cost. DS is off to Dad's today so I will start my planning.
Aureol - 3 weeks entertaining your little one on just Child Benefit is quite a challenge but I'm sure you'll do it with your positive attitude. My son used to love the "messy" bit at the Science Museum when he was smaller - the other thing he loved was that big open space at the Festival Hall, great on a rainy day, the kids can run around like maniacs while adults can listen to the free foyer music.
Cherisong - it sounds like holiday planning is your true vocation - thanks for all the ideas.
Welcome Climintheladder..

Thanks for this MsHalffull, I didn't know about the Festival Hall. My DS loves running around! He will love it!0 -
