I don't think emma_b is using MSE any more - her last activity was September 09 and the OP of this thread is almost 4 years old! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

As far as I am aware there is no current list available. If you want to write to members of the forces on Ops you may find it worth while writing to the Unit Welfare Office of a local Regiment or Corps to see if they are aware of anyone due to deploy or deployed who wishes to receive mail from strangers. But please be aware that due to PERSEC and OPSEC they may be unwilling to give out this potentially sensitive information to a stranger. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hiya
I'm interested in being a penpal to someone who is in the forces, would you know of any one who is interested in writing?
I have got plenty of spare time for people who are in the forces. It would be nice to chat to them to show them that they have got support even if it is from people that they dont already know .
Thank0 -
I have found a fabulous free website where you can find forces penpals and information you should have a look its called Pen Pals and Care Parcels or www. ppcp .org .uk0
