What a wonderful scheme. I spent most of my early teenage years writing blueys and whilst I don't know how my Dad felt when he received them, the feeling just before you opened one was incredible. I've held onto one - only one of mine that he sent me; he has all of the ones me, my sister and mum sent him. I think that says a lot

last time i did this after the gulf war i ended up marrying the guy, we didnt have email then so sent hundreds of blueys which i still have up the attic !! lol

what a really good idea. Have just emailed deidre for a list. My eldest son wants to go into the RAF when he leaves school so this could be good for him as well.
