penpals in the forces free to send "email" letters to cheer them up

Do you mean for the yahoo group? As that's just started up there's no one to write to yet.

What everyone else is talking about in relation to getting replies from is the ebluey website, emma received a list of addresses from the sun and has been PMing them to everyone who wants them. You then just pick someone off the list and write to them using the ebluey site. I'll send you the list now

also does anyone know, if the person you write to through e-bluey have your address or is it just in the "system" for the printed letter to get to you?

Have PM'ed the list to peechy, dizzymuppet, raspberry collins and Missmoneypenny.

peechy - they do get to see your address as they need to enter it to send a letter back to you. Unfortunately there's not a way around it.

well, my postie is so lazy he will have posted mine somewer else, we get every1s mail on a friday he must just decide he wants to get home and dumps it in my letter box for me then to post, plus he doesnt come till 3pm, and then we get wrong post too, so maybe some1 has written back and my letters are floating around somewhere!

we also dont know just how prompt the letters are delivered.

if we all chose difrent names from the list they shouldnt get too swamped, some wer wanting penpals for "any soldier" and some needed pals for 30...

lets hope we didnt all write to the same people!

the yahoo site is a good idea, i will join when i get a mo away from weddings and coursework!

keep up the good work guys, i will pm from my inbox when i get chance, otherwise some kind person on this thread will forward the list to you
