My son is in the navy & has just gone on his 1st deployment. I'm sure he would love to receive messages from penpals - could you please tell me how he would subscribe to this ....

It's his 21st in 3 weeks and i'm gutted that he will be away, it would be lovely for him to get mail from someone other than his mum !

Emma received this list from the Sun, it's just a list of people who have contacted 'Dear Deirdre' with their forces addresses wanting penpals.

If you wanted him on that list that The Sun sends to everyone who contacts requesting the penpal list then I guess you'd have to send an e-mail in to 'Dear Deiredre' but if you want him just on the list we're sending out here we can easily add him? If you want to send me / emma a pm with his address we can add him and then for anyone else who asks for the list he'll be included

Or if you want to select a few of us to write to him, we could do some form of 'Forces Factor', you can be Sharon Osbourne and you can select the best candidates!

Bless him being away for his 21st, i'm sure you'll send him a few parcels and cards but it's not like being at home

maybe if people put their names on here that would be interested in writing to him and then you pm those people with his address, and then they can add him to their ebluey list ?

About 7 I think! What about you?

I know who this was, it was an individual as opposed to a group this time, dated 17/9/2006 so they are taking a while to come through.
