Daily Chat - Thankfully its Thursday!

Hi One and All - hope that I am not treading on any toes, but have started off the daily chat. Washing on the line and another load in for DS 3 to hang out!! Am wearing a pair of Claire's earrings today which are lovely. If any of you haven't been on her website it is truly wonderful and I would vouch for her products. Thanks Claire. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Billie x

    Good Morning :)

Aww thanks Billie and Lmc :) nothing like a bit of advertising there :) Need to get more stuff on the website though, not much on there, had loads of people looking at the site but only one sale so far :) Think i need more on there.

I've got a load of washing on the line and my last load in the machine :) thank goodness ) (until one of the boys decides to give me their washing baskets although Nathans is empty at the moment, don't know about Ben's though.) got a mountain of ironing again though, am toying with the idea of sending more out, but £26 again this week might be a bit steep.

Not got much planned for today.

    Morning all

Claire - get the boys to do the ironing for you - it's a great skill to learn and their future partners will thank you for it.

A quiet day planned here today - had a pain in my side for a few days now and I need to have a day off to see if it helps...feels like I've been kicked in the ribs? Strange.....don't think all the sanding and painting helped it much yesterday. :o

Might make some cookies and cakes with DD2 later, we've nothing sweet in the house at the moment and I'm sure she'd appreciate the results.

Ben did iron his own shirt yesterday, but it wasn't very good :) I might do half an hour later and see how my back/hip holds out :)

Morning all, at work and they havent got enough for me to do so I can justify coming on here ;)

I'm pretty good at my NSD's so far, I even took £10 Monday night, spent around £6 for drinks and havent touched the rest which is impressive for me!

Having friends over for dinner tomorrow so we will need to go buy the food tonight so will be spending but not on things we dont need :) also need to give the flat a good proper clean!

Hope everyone has a happy Thursday :)

    Hi all,

I am sitting at my new computer desk, put together last night!

I have almost all the tiles off! Starting to even off the plaster and repair holes. Then the fun really starts. Got lots of tips from Stuart yesterday so not feeling too daunted. The bottom tiles are the killer - they appear to have been sealed to the sealant!

    Morning.

I've got up to find an email saying that social services aren't allowing my appeal on the financial assessment. They are still saying that costs like a coffee when I meet my support worker and the therapeutic activities I do are costs that everyone has. I can't afford to pay £16 a week towards the direct payments and the same towards my mental health stuff, so I feel like I'm having to choose between the two. I've emailed my social worker and Mind so fingers crossed something can be done.

Sorry about that, just needed to moan.
