I am not sure where you would stand on getting this back, but you could try complaining to the MOJ.

Hannah,
You need to act quick. The contract that your hubby signed should have 14 day cooling off period so that should get your money back. call them and follow it up with a letter sent special (signed for) delivery. If nothing is then forthcoming then complain to the Ministry of Justice (website is www.claimsregulation.gov.uk/index.aspx).
As for getting money back of Tesco - did they say exactly how or why they could? We've spent decades teaching people about their rights, but nothing about their responsibilities.0 -
I had a guy stop me in the high street from this company. Alarm bells rang when someone from their office called me the next day asking questions about who I had debts with and asking for account number that they could check. I said it wasn't convenient for me to talk right now. Ever since they have hounded me with text messages and today, they left at least 30 long blank voicemails on my phone in the space of an hour, which disabled my mailbox. Although the messages are blank, after doing some research, I know it is them.0

Blimey, this seems strange that they did that although nothing surprises me if they think they can make money out of you. I would just threaten you will report them to the MOJ if they call again.I had a guy stop me in the high street from this company. Just for the record... how did they get your number?? Did you give it to the guy in the street?0 -

They owe me a nearly £2000 which I have talked about in other threads, they have still not paid me !!Beneficial Claims / We Fight Any Claim / Money Worries / Yes Loans are all the same Scam company.
Do not do business with any of them!!0 -
This company "We fight any claim ltd" just called and asked to speak to my wife who was out. I said she was out and asked what it was about. PPI Mis-selling. I told them we were not interested.
Get this: they called back and insisted they had a right to speak to my wife. I actually found myself shouting at them. My wife and I have joint accounts, everything we do wrt finance we do together - and she has confirmed she has no dealings with them at all.
This is a seriously aggressive company. I have pointed out we are on TPS so they have no right to call. Are there any organisations with enough teeth to deal with this sort of malevolent organisation?0 -
You could report them to these
