Virgin Internet

Hi,
I am moving back to uni next week and have to sort out the wireless internet. The people who lived in the house before us had Virgin internet as they have a 9 month contract.
I know it all works ok in the house, which is why I am thinking of going with them (less hassle), but I was wondering if anyone was with them, or has been with them...are they any good?
Thanks

I've been with Virgin for several years and have usually found them to be reliable. My broadband speed is supposed to be 8 mb but never achieve anything near that. In fact I'm currently doing the BT tests suggested by Virgin and will phone them when I've done several speed tests.
Their tech line costs 25p/minute and they seem to be very helpful.
My subscription is £17.99 a month, about average pricing I think.
Good luck0 -

Correction, your speed is supposed to be UP TO 8MB and the speed that you get is very dependant on the condition and the length your actual line to your exchange.
