Why would a LHD vehicle command a premium? I would have thought that LHD would be far less popular, and therefore command a lower price, than a RHD vehicle.

There are far less available for obvious reasons, market forces dictate prices.

Yea, it has to be lefthand drive unfortunately and it has to be cheap too! The only exceptions being ambulances and fire engines, lol x

Probably skip the citreon, you don't see many of them around (probably because of the suspension system). Certainly in Madagascar it is Renault 4's (Taxis) and Peugeot 404 pickups (Taxi Brousse).

But equally, there is far less demand for LHD, so that should make them cheaper.

A Peugeot 404, or a 505 estate, would be ideal, but they are rare in the UK in any form, let alone LHD, and are beginning to fetch 'classic' money.
