What if you can give them a time, day etc and any other items bought at the time, i know my company (with a less than advanced till system) can search for all receipts with a certain item, then narrow it down by date and all of the above, usually finding the right receipt, of course we dont have to but its nice to help.Back by no demand whatsoever.0

Aldi did this for my mum once - although she did need to bring along her bank statement obviously to prove she had spent that amount and that she wasnt just chancing her luck. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

No i'm just not so shortsighted that i dont plan ahead
For example, paying by card.
Plus i have to say there has been a handful of times i have had to return items as faulty and never anything big. I've never had anything break on me, other than a 16 year old fridge/freezer but i broke it
Not on purpose of course.
My cooker is around 27 years old (reluctant to get rid of it as it was my grans), my washing machine is 9 years old, suite is around 15 years old and isnt out of shape/damaged in any way.......all in all i've been extremely lucky!
And although i am tempted to replace my dated objects.........you could say i'm scared after reading horror stories on here! You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
