  • Hi All (I'm new here, first post, please be gentle!)

I just happened to be checking my Tesco Clubcard Reward account today, as I wondered whether the 1000 bonus points for taking up their Delivery Saver scheme back in Sept had been added.

Hoarder that I am, I still had the original email from Tesco advertising the scheme and offering 500 points for 3 month subscription, or 1000 for 6 month subscription if I signed up before 30 Sept.

I checked, and yup, I signed up, and have been merrily using it since. Small print said that the 1000 point bonus would be added to my Nov statement. Couldn't see anything looking like that in the statement.

Just phoned Tesco, and after a bit of a wait whilst the chap 'went to speak to someone', they confirmed that the bonus points were never added in Nov, and weren't due in the Feb statement either.

They've now been added. Anyone else who subscribed to this might want to check their points balance too.

  • Hi there

It's my DH's 40th this year and I'd like to get him a watch from Goldsmiths using the 3x voucher deal. However, currently I only have around £30 in vouchers so really want to boost these (ideally I want to get him a watch for around £1,000 so looking to get around 30,000 points between now and the next cut off)

In exploring ways to boost my points I've seen some for sale on ebay but I am wary of buying vouchers in case they are not then honored by Goldsmiths.

I then came across people selling empty ink cartridges which seems worthwhile as I can buy 30 for £35 and should then get 3,000 points or £90 worth of rewards at Goldsmiths (I believe that I can recycle up to 100 cartridges per year) so that would be worth £300 in Goldsmiths vouchers. And I could get my mum to do it as well and then she can order her own vouchers which I think we can then both use at the same time in Goldsmiths although I need to check this with them to be absolutely sure.

My question is what are peoples experiences of getting points successfully added when sending off the cartridges - it seems that it may be a bit hit and miss? I won't be too bothered if say 10% go astray but if its REALLY hit and miss, maybe I should given it a miss (no pun intended :-) ) altogether. In which case I need another way of boosting those points as everyday shopping isn't going to do it (especially as I'm trying to avoid actually shopping in Tesco's these days :) )

    Thanks for any advice

I gave up with the points for ink cartridges as after a few months they started rejecting most of the cartridges I sent them.

Cant see this already posted, but currently Tesco are offering 150 if you pre-order a DVD, and 250 points if you pre-order a blu-ray, both online.

I have placed 2 separate orders and the bonus points have appeared on both.

THANKS! I called them just now and while the operator couldn't find it on the system, she submitted a claim form to the IT guys, and will call me back once it is confirmed. Points to be added to the May statement

Does anyone know the t's & c's for this promotion, please?
Cant seem to find them on their website!
Just wondered if it was once per order, as I wanted to combine pre-orders to get the £5 off a £25 spend, but the points are worth more to me, per product!
