No, don't do that - it's a 'entertainment/direct' promotion, so they should know the promotion T & Cs. Clubcard can only see if the points are there or not.

  • Not sure if this is the right place....I signed up to the loft insulation scheme that was extended to 30th November 2012. "3000 clubcard points for loft and/or cavity wall insulation". It was free and for once you didnt need to be on any benefits to qualify, they were just doing everyone before the funding ran out. I had mine loft insulated on the very last day but still have yet to receive the points. Has anyone else had this problem? I have emailed CC as not sure who else to contact but have had no reply as yet. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. :(

Be polite, bewildered by this failure, but insistent[I'm sure you don't need that advice:-)]and ask them to put you through to the correct section, if they can't help you initially.

Should this fail, a well written Recorded Delivery letter to the CEO generally works wonders. Include also your unacknowledged email.

Keep us posted and good luck.

THANKS! I called them just now and while the operator couldn't find it on the system, she submitted a claim form to the IT guys, and will call me back once it is confirmed. Points to be added to the May statement

Quick update: after this call 2-3 weeks ago, heard nothing back. Then got a call last week to say I had to submit evidence of this promotion in writing. Submitted the promotion text via the Contact form on Tesco.com and got a call today.

Apparently promotions like this are batch processed and clearly something has gone wrong, as they should have been added last year. I'm told a Team Leader will add my 1,000 points manually and they should show up in a week or so.

    Worth chasing the CS team!

It remains to be seen when we will get the Blinkbox promotional 1000 points... hasn't happened automatically just yet and quite a few people are upset. Hope I don't have to chase those myself (again) too!
  • Hi,

I'm new so hope I'm posting this in the correct place. I have searched this thread & it doesn't appear to have been mentioned yet.

Top Cashback now allow you to take your credit plus 5% extra in, clubcard points, only up to £50 though, unsure if you can add lots of amounts under £50. Anyway, transfer that into a deal and you get 4x the value. Well pleased I spotted this, as just ordered an exchange last night for the science centre & worst case you spend them in tesco & you'd be no worse off anyway.

Ooh that's great thanks. Ive been looking for a way to boost points that I can then turn into Goldsmiths vouchers for DH's 40th this year. Looks like this will help. :D
  • so after not having my 1000points added on the 22february for the recent blinkbox promo i decided to phone tesco clubclard to query. i was told this was down to blinkbox to add the points to my card and they wld be doing so at the end of the current points collection date, may 4th. this was yesterday.

anyways, had an email today to confirm my 1000 points had been added, checked my clubcard account online to confirm:) the points show as having been added on the 9th february, strange. so may be worth giving tesco cc a ring.

Anyone know the Ts & Cs for the Dan brown book bonus points? Was wanting to order a couple of copies but only if each one will get 500 points.
