Out of interest... any chance of cancelling the 12 month subscription because they have increased the price?

BT also raising their line rental but I believe you can't cancel contract. I always thought if terms of contract change then they are voiding contract... unless limited price rises are within the contract.

The contract makes provision for price increases.

I believe you should vote with your feet or pocket. After 10 years of putting up with the lack of customer service from Sky I got rid and honestly dont miss it.
I would never take their broadband as it stinks and trying to phone them about anything could lead to having a brain storm as nobody at Sky appears to know what they are doing.
I have a number of friends who fell for the hype and took their phone and broadband only to regret their decision and changed back to a company that doesnt see us all as 'cash cows'.

I'm really surprised when I hear people having such a bad time with Sky! I've had it for quite a while and I've always been happy with it - when I've had any issues they've got them sorted quickly and for free, so I guess I've just been lucky?
Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
