Good afternoon ScotDebs! :j
Thanks for stopping by! Unfortunately, I never kept a diary as a DFW... I kept lurking on other DFW diaries every day, for tips & advice..
I can tell you it took a long time to achieve it, a lot of self discipline and a few sacrifices, but it was well worth it! I am more than happy to share any details, so feel free to ask away!
Have you started a MFW dairy yet, or do you still have a CC debt to clear beforehand??
I look forward to hearing from you!

Well done on the PPI reclaim. I hope the council tax rebanding rules in your favour.

Thanks Jellie! :j The PPI reclain took the best part of 18 months from start to finish... Hope the council sees sense in my challenge too! The MSE email keeps me on my toes, as to the best deals around, claims to be made if applicable to oneself... So I always have an ear and an eye out for any news that could help me out on my journey!
We are off to a holiday village in Looe/Polperro...hopefully the weather will be nice... Are you going anywhere nice this summer?

Hey Jellie! :j
What a coincidence! I have never been to that specific place before, but have been to Cornwall a few times and love it there... It really is like the place I originally come from (Brittany in France)
Did you stay in a holiday village over there? Any place to visit, pubs, resataurants you would recommend over there?
Did you have a good time while you were there?

Hello and welcome!! Well done on your OP! I would suspect that NR won't acknowledge it - too costly to acknowledge small OPs (C&G haven't acknowledged any of mine - even a £12.5k one!)
Hi GreenT :j
Hope all is ok?
We received acknowledgement from Northern Rock of our first OP, and it also shows our new balance, very motivating as it shows an ever decreasing balance...
Think all lenders should do the same, especially C&G, and for such a big OP as you did
Good luck in your journey

Try missing payments of 12.5k. Bet they'd soon acknowledge thatA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
