    Hi

I have received approval for highest cashback guarantee from TCB for my car insurance, so that will be an extra fiver for 10 seconds work.. :p

I had "one of those meetings" with my boss this afternoon.. Basically my workload will treble from this week onwards.. Oh great, I already work most weekends, I work every single bank holiday and god knows how many hours a week.. Of course, there will be no financial recognition for that (no pay rise, no overtime, no time in lieu)..

The few phrases that came to mind during that meeting (but refrained to express aloud):

    - Are you !@&^!! kidding me?
    - I am only human, I am not a machine..
    - There are only 24 hours a day and I spent the majority of them in the office..and I am on call 5 days a week during the night..
    ....

On top of that, she requested I take my laptop and phone on holidays so I can work from France..

The words: fed up come to mind.. But she knows there are so few and far between other jobs out there that I have to stick with it.. I have no other choice..

    Unhappy Froggy :(

Froggy that sounds awful, just delurking to offer a hug. Does she not realise that the quality of work is going to suffer if staff don't get a break? Hope things improve for you soon.

Froggy - that is nuts. I retract any comparisons I made between our jobs, at least my days off are just that!

I have very little positive to add, but we're all hoping that some miraculous change comes about and cheers you up :)

[shuffles out of lurkdom] Sorry to hear about your carpy job at the moment, Froggy.Perhaps you'll find out that unfortunately both internet and phone reception are dreadful in the area of France you're in - once you get there of course....;) - unless that would make things even worse when you get back?

    Hope things improve

    Another fight :j:j..
I am starting a battle against another financial institution to get a redress on loan taken alongside the mortgage on the old house up North.. I anticipate lots of waiting around, frustration and strongly worded letter and involvement from the Financial Ombudsman.. Yeah :j:j

Well, well, well... One thing you should know: you should never mess with the Froggy :rotfl:

Had a call from the Financial Ombudsman service and I have won my case against the mortgage company.. Now just waiting for the cheque :D I know it won't be massive and will probably be swallowed up paying for the last big bills for this year (new passport, divorce, winter gas & leccy bill...) But then, I won't have to find that money from somewhere else or withdraw any of my savings..

    Hi Froggy

Really sorry to hear how tough work is for you at the moment, having read your post about boss telling you to work while away on holiday I still can't believe it  some people make you :wall:

So pleased to hear though about your Ombudsman success, yay, go you, that will teach your mortgage company to mess with our Frogmeister :D

I haven't caught up on here for what feels like ages but I did catch the post about your new baby niece, how lovely for you and the family, is she the first grandchild?

I'm an aunty and just can't tell you how much I love it, I'm totally pathetic and they have me wrapped round their tiny fingers :o

Sending you hugs and in the absence of Billy one of these too :grouphug:. Speaking of which, do you know if he is ok?

    Regards

    What an evil boss .

    Well done on Ombudsman :T.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)
