Good luck, Tilly x
Good point Tilly.. However my colleagues and peers have been there for years and pretty much stuck in old habits.. They rant, moan and whinge all day but do nothing about it..
I need to find a way to show them that there are better ways of doing things, but it's hard when we are so busy..
Looks like I will be working both bank holidays and the weekend in between.. If that's the price to pay for success then bring it on!

Payday today :j:j:j:j:j
£11.61 (leftover in current account) & £45.63 (pay rise) added to the pot.. Next money shuffle will probably be early April once the monthly DD's are taken out..
I have also booked my flights for July for my dad's 60th party.. A tiny bit of cashhback also.. Will need to get airport parking sorted out, but no rush on that one yet..
Have a great day all

If I didn't know better, I'd swear we were working together Froggy! I've been looking for a new job for ages, and that "attitude" from people is one of my biggest motivators.
Change it if you don't like it- don't just whine!MFW 2010- £112,500 + 20% Equity Loan = £150,000 35 years

Probably a silly idea, but from what you're saying aren't you the best candidate to take over from your boss retiring?0

Sorry I missed your payday. Hope it was a good one, with lots of cake and presents :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Just heard the ice cream van going down my street..:eek:
Quiet weekend in, as did not fancy venturing out in this weather.. I watched "Horrible Bosses" last night, and it made me feel slightly better about my job.. Those who have watched it will understand..
Another rough week or two coming up..not looking forward to that.. I did win £2.80 on the lottery though.. I very doubt I can quit my job with this jackpot though..
Not too much money spent.. £50 on diesel and £26 on weekly food shop..
Hope you are well and keeping warm

Hope you are too. I loved 'Horrible Bosses'. It made me feel a lot better about my management skills.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0
