A bwado Froggy,
LOST?!? That's no bloody good. Whats the severance package like for part-time, remote supporting, gun-toting, ping pong motivational coaches these days? Not sure if Billy Street will extend all the way down the road to suit you but I'll see what I can do for you...
Happy to look at buying the current house to ensure that ol' Elvis doesn't have to put up with the trauma of a move!!
Cheers,
Billy
I would not say we lost...but we did not win.. You see I am being positive here.. There is no payout for ping pong coaches, you should have read the small prints at the bottom of your contract..:rotfl:
Cheers

Morning
Am still alive, thanks..
Internet is not working at home (am at work now), and I am waiting for Sky to send me new filters to see if thats fixes this issue..
Have been off work for a couple of days this week poorly.. Pretty sure its related to the fact I am so run down with everything thats going on.. I am welcoming the weekend with open arms, I could do with a bit of rest..
No news on the house sale, no viewings or anything, its gone all so quiet..
Same at work, still frustrating as we do not know anything as yet..they are keeping us guessing till the last minute.. I am pushing the recruitment agencies as much as I can, but with very little results so far..
Looks like Ex-OH will be moving out end of January/Begining of February, to take up her new job down South..
Am off to France in 3 weeks time and I can't wait.. However my boss is trying to cancel my holidays between xmas & new year, claiming there's no management cover during that period (the fact is that he approved all our holidays, but did not book any for himself ) he can jog on if he thinks I am going to change my plans to suit his cushy life..
Not much happening money wise (due to no internet)..
Hope everybody is fine?
Cheers

Hi Froggy
It will be good for you to get away. I would definately tell them where to go if they try and change your holidays...they have been booked for some time now haven't they? and anyway, you are entitled to them - stand your ground!
Sorry you have been poorly and hope you feel better soon.

Oh Froggy - I can sympathise - my colleague is extending his holiday overseas and any time I book mine - I get a spiel about how my manager has lost x amount of days not taken in years (uh huh... and that is my issue, why?)...
I suspect I am going to get the same in terms of my leave - and I'm especially miffed as I secured a deal for 5 days additional unpaid leave as I left a job with 28 days hols to go to one where you only get 20. And then they announced that because most companies take the days between Xmas and New Year off - all employees would be expected to use up their vacation in the same manner, and if they had none left to take unpaid leave.
So basically I lose that 5 days I secured.
Grrr.
Anyway - you need this break to recuperate.- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Morning all
Bl**dy internet connection still not working at home..
I had that meeting with my boss yesterday.. I stuck to my guns, and I will be going on holidays.. He did not like the fact that I was not flexible.. Well I booked the ferry and the time off at the end of October and he agreed and signed my request.. Tough "dooda", he should have thought about it beforehand..
Anyway less than 3 weeks to go before I am off..:D
I heard on the grapevine that Scotland is being taken over by Billy! it's like Braveheart all over again!! :rotfl:
Xmas shopping pretty much finished, so thats a relief, so I should not have to approach any overcrowded shops in December..
I might treat myself to a visit to the manchester xmas market before I am off to France..
Hope everybody is well?
Cheers

I don't know about that Froggy, if he paints his chest blue he may look more like THIS than Mel Gibson :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
