Very poor workmanship on my Sony Bravia

Hi I need some advise on what action to take against sony. I bought a 52" Sony Bravia last October and when it arrived I was a bit shocked to discover how cheap the thing looked compared to other brands like LG, Panasonic etc. Also the remote looked cheap and nasty too. However, when I discovered that they hadn't even stuck the word "SONY" on straight on the front of my TV thats when I decided to complain to them.
The TV cost me £1295.00 and it was built in Slovakia. When they responded to my complaint they said they cannot cater to everyone's taste with regards to design features.
How the hell is a wonky SONY brand name a design beature? Anyway I am not letting this go, so I am going to complain again, but how do I make sure they listen this time.
To be honest I am stunned at the incredibly basic design of such an expensive TV, if it had said "ALBA" instead of "SONY" on it that would be a closer match.
If you are planning on a flatscreen TV
DO NOT BUY A SONY - GO ELSEWHERE

Have you considered returning it if the retailer/company offer a 30day moneyback guarantee?
Also do you have the picture on the internet of the place you bought it? I would imagine it breaches the Trade Description Act if the picture they advertise has the word SONY on it

Agree with Sony design is a personal thing, it is very low on my list when buying a TV I just want an unobtrusive box with high quality internals, if it was high on my priority's I would look at it before purchase.
Picture quality is what you are paying the money for and you need to pick the one you find the best as well as viewing the tech specs, again though how can you buy some thing such as this without viewing first.
If there is a manufacturing fault and the badge is crooked you need to complain and return to the seller you have coverage under distance sellers to allow you to return for refund for ANY reason.
Oh and whats wrong with Slovakia?0
