I can hear OH in the dining room swearing and huffing and puffing. Hes wrapping my Christmas presents :rotfl:

I'm anal about Christmas wrapping paper so I always insist on wrapping my own :rotfl: The first year he boght me something he wrapped it in the cheapest kiddy paper and all the ends were all creased p. Since then I just add it to the pile and wrap it with mine so that it has nice crisp folds, sharp edges and pretty ribbon!

£15.15 for me please Paul (If I call you 'Pal' at some point it's becase the letter U has gone a bit funny on my keyboard haha!)

Hope you are looking forward to a nice Friday night!

  • Hi All - this is a brilliant thread and I want to join in please! :j

As a minimum, I aim to put by just 72p per day to pay for my daughters school uniform next year. She is starting secondary school and I know everything is going to cost a small fortune! By the time I fork out for the blazer, special PE kit, etc. I think its going to cost about £150!!! (who said education is free?!) but by doing it daily, hopefully I won't even notice. Saying that, there has been many days I don't even have 72p in my purse! :D Obviously, I have other debt too and will post these aswell - although I doubt that will be daily!

So, todays PAD is my little 72p :T

T'was me!!! I love it..... I was out with a friend who reads a lot and she said she was thinking of getting one for her OH for christmas but wasn't sure. I happened to have my work bag with me so let her have a play on mine (so to speak). She ordered one the next day. I used a lot of nectar points to buy mine too. The battery life is as good as they advertised.

Hmmm - I have heard a lot of "I love it's"! Are the books expensive for it? Sooo tempted to order one bt I don't know!

    xx

£1 for me please. Although I have been paid I'm ignoring the money in my account as it's been put there a week early. I'm trying not to fall into the trap of being skint all the way through January. We'll see if it works though!!
