    Hi everyone!

Hope you had a good holiday Paul :)

Welcome to the thread CC, yep it really does work well! Definitely helps to curb spending too because whe you would normally spend money you find yourself thinking, oh hold on I could pad that.... :rotfl:

I have had a really annoying day today. Was supposed to be going round my friend house this moring, but when I got up all of the sockets in the house had stopped working and the circuit breaker switch thing (dunno if thats what it's actually called) was tripped. Normally when it happens you can just flick it back up again, but this time it when I tried it it made a massive spark and flicked off again  So I've had to faff about trying to get the landlord to get an electrician out, and had to cancel my day out . It seems to be working now touch wood :p

Pad of 20p today please Boobylou xxx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o
  • Did you have a good time? :D

    It was alright.
    A bit stressful at times.
I would have preferred it if my friend's son didn't keep attacking me with a wooden sword and generally trying (and sometimes succeeding) to wind me up. That's kids for you though.
I feel like I need a week away on my own sometime but can't afford it now. Although there were plenty of good bits, I feel that half of the week was wasted. I don't go on holiday to be pushed to the edge of a mental breakdown.
I know it sounds comical but there were times when I felt like packing my stuff and getting a train home.
Next time I holiday totally by myself.
I like holidays to be low stress affairs. Spending a week with people who are seriously tidy and don't like a thing out of place is brain damaging to someone like me.

I went away for a walk one day I was in a mood and met him in the woods, he was alot older than me and said that he spends 6months of the year on his own...wasn't you was it?! :p

Probably not as we live hundreds of miles apart :D .
I don't want to sound like an old grouch as I'm generally fine with kids. I can even take the odd slap with the flat of a wooden sword. However, having the (blunt) pointy end shoved into my (clothed) buttocks when I'm trying to sleep is a bit much.
There was a lot more to it than that but I've experienced high stress levels far too much in my life and I reckon that one week a year when I can just chill out a bit more isn't much to ask.
I have quite enough stress trying to maintain a one man business and dealing with debts and having one week a year when I can turn it all off is important to me.
Sometimes I think I should live in a cave (with electricity and running water of course :D )

    :rotfl::rotfl:@ at buttocks bit!! :D

Thi guy was from Englandshire somewhere, he came up here for 6 months with his mutt for a bit of peace and quiet!

Kids are bloody awful...just read mumof4's rant about the broken ceiling :D

I really hate my neice and I'm not an old grouch! She 'borrowed' all my 'old' make up and I've got none left for a night out in a couple of weeks...I'm going to have to spend a fortune on new make up now
