Hi everyone, hope you are all safe and warm.

I've spent the day watching the gritters leaving the depot where I work - they went out with snowplows this afternoon. We are expecting more snow this evening, and my daft OH has passed up the suggestion of a night in a hotel near Leeds to drive home this evening only to drive back at 6:30 tomorrow morning.

    Is he NUTS or what.......

Anyway today I have a PAD of £10.31 to Te$co cc. I do wish I had a little more but OH's fuel bill is huge at the moment.
  • Well it finally warmed up to zero around midday so out I went in my shorts to wash people's windows. If I manage to get four afternoons in all week I shall count that as a bonus.

    Venturing outside: brave :D

Venturing outside in shorts: complete lunacy!!!

You deserve a beer for that

    Of course I didn't have shorts on :D .
And no, I wasn't bollock naked either.

Seriously, I may even get some long johns for under my work trousers.
Not easy working with water when +1 is the best temperature of the day.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: My postman Barney is still in shorts, but then he's a bit odd.

My ex hubby was a window cleaner, great job on nice days, bloody hard work when it's cold. Hope tomorrow's not quite so chilly for you, and yes, long johns will look great under your shorts :D

You dont fancy coming to clean my windows do you Paul :rotfl: why is it so bloody hard to find a reliable window cleaner where I live.
Ours turned up today (havent seen him for 9 weeks!! Been keeping track on the calander) wanting paying - he rekons he cleaned them yesterday. They are bloody filthy so unless he cleaned them with mud water I very much doubt he did!

So what part of the country are you in Flower? :D .
If you are in my current catchment area (or not far outside) then it may be possible. Unlikely though as I cover a small part of a large country.
