Also - how do mums of young babies remember how many months old they are? (Genuine question here!) Like you know when you say, oh he/she is 15 months (or whatever)? I sometimes have to count forward from my birth year to remember how old I am, let alone remember the months - how come you don't just say "1 and a bit?"
It starts as days, weeks then months.
After certain ages I stopped saying months - when they get to 12 weeks you can start saying 3 months, then about 10 months you can say 'just under a year' then after 18 months it's 'he's just a few months off his second birthday' - It's easy to remember because you remember how long it's been since you had a quiet cuppa :rotfl:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Ah, so you are normal then and use rough ages  My friend at work always refers to her daughter by months and it amazes me how she remembers! She just says its natural but I think she secretly has a tally chart written on her kids body somewhere...Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0

There are mother's like her out there...they're the weirdos you'll find with nothing but fruit and little boxes of raisins in their kitchens and a big roll of bubble wrap beside the front door :rotfl:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Hahaha - really shouldn't slag mothers off because I'm not one myself, but those types of people irritate the hell out of me
I also can't help but get a bit annoyed when people go on about how guilty they feel for going back to work when they have kids - seriously, your kids don't mind (coming from a kid who had 2 full time working parents lol)! They will remember the time you did spend with them, not the time you didn't!
Anyway, rant over lol!
Just watching I'm a celeb, it's like a car crash I've never been interested before!!

LOL! Well stop feeling guilty for working! It's the best thing you can do as far as I'm concerned! (Not that that matters at all haha)
My nan always tells a story about one day when she picked me up from school when I was about 6 and I asked her VERY LOUDLY as six year olds do "WHY IS EVERYONE ELSES MUM SO LAZY NAN WHY DON'T THEY GO TO WORK TO EARN MONEY" and then followed that up with "THEY MUST HAVE TO EAT BROWN SAUCE ON TOAST BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO POOR"No idea why I assumed that was what poor people ate :rotfl: I can't remember saying it!
