I know what you mean with the spending diary, I hope I can keep it up for the month as it is making me think twice about what I am spending.

Yes it is a bit of an eye opener isn't it? (especially my cigs :o:eek:)
I think its a very scary thing to do, but do it all the time. My friends think its a bit OCD, but then they have no idea how much they spend each week.

Well I only started it on Tuesday and so far I've wrote in it every time I've spent something. Even my pads lol :D

Can't speak for others but I know I'm pretty skint. Will be a few PADs coming from my way over the next week or so though. Putting money away for the tax bill is a better way of doing things for me and does give a more realistic insight into my finances - but it leaves things rather tight at times.

    Hi everyone!

Sorry I've not been posting much just lately, I am still trying to be on the wagon and everything but have lost motivation recently, not so much with moneysaving but just in general. I seem to be just coming home and sitting down and not really doing much, and I'm getting so fed up of myself but still can't be bothered to do anything about it. Does anyone else get that way? I know I need to snap out of it but I can't find the energy to do it! It's stupid because I know lots of people have far more on their plate than me! I don't know if it's because I've not been very well or what. Somebody tell me to belt up! I think I will have a lazy day today then try and sort my life out (lol love that phrase) tomorrow.

I have been paid but not padding yet as I want to wait till after the weekend to sort out finances and make sure I know where I stand with it all.

Just needed a little self indulgent moan really so thanks for listening. *goes back to vegging out like a slob*

    xx

    Hey Silaqui!

Yeah I get like that, quite alot actually! :o

I don't think it's really to do with how much you've got on your plate, I think alot of it's to do with needing a break/good night out/spa :D

The same old routine day in and day out is dull
