God I cant wait until tomorrow!! OH should get his owed wages tomorrow - I think I will cry if he doesnt :rotfl:
Feeling so fed up today, sick of being skint and never having any spare moneyBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Flower - hope you are able to breath a sigh of relief tomorrow.
No PAD for me today, the telephone co took their direct debit (I though it went out tomorrow) and took the a/c to exactly £0.00 - so at least tidy before OH's wages go in tomorrow morning.
OH has been for an interview (a 12 month contract) it has been really odd. 8 months out of work and suddenly he gets a temp job (he's been temping for 3 years since redundancy) and then others pop out of the woodwork.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, it just would have been nice if it had happened earlier in the year:D0 -
Good news on the car front, my friends brother will fix all bar speedo for the price of parts plus £60 labour so that'll be no more than £140 and my friend is paying him for me. It means driving up to Shrewsbury... and I KNOW it's not good but I have no other choice at the moment. I'm using my flatmates car to go to Littlehampton on Monday so thats one less journey for it.
Maintenance man came today and can't find the source of the damp so he is recommending they send a damp specialist round... which is great, except we are meant to re-sign next Friday or give our notice in. So hopefully they arrange it quick! I just put my jeans on to go out and I smell of damp! Sexy....Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Morning All!
Hope you are all OK. Flower - I hope your OH's wages arrived today! Fingers crossed all is as it should be!
Thanks to everyone for your congrats and well wishes. So pleased that the Virgin CC is cleared (well, there will probably be a couple quid interest to pay in a few days). My mouth seems to be healing better and quicker than the last time. I did have the senior ssurgeon cut it out though. He was really good. Spoke to me in English at each point to explain what he was doing, and then switched to Dutch to explain to his junior colleague! Clever man! OH said I was only gone for 20 minutes and the first 10 of those were prep! They also gave me stronger Ibuprofen than I was prescribed in the UK, I'm sure, which is no doubt helping immensely. Sleep was a bit rubbish, kept waking up a lot uncomfortable, but I DID sleep, so that's excellent! Look a bit like a hamster today, but that's what the ice pack is for.
Anyway, onto PAD's.
Another £90 to the Halifax Credit Card and £30 to the Overdraft. Total PAD's of £120.
Have a good day all!
