Is it anything to do with 'white power'?! When we were there, there was a protest in the middle of the city about 'white power', some guy was shouting about 'white Power' and how 'England would be better without' certain ethnic groups...One of them offered my a leaflet and said something like 'Don't let England go to waste' - I looked at him, told him I'm Scottish and ran away :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Yeah that's them! :rotfl: Haha might have known you would given it some lip
Problem is, as well as their protest, the anti fascism people are having a counter protest, and as it's very multicultural down here I can imagine all the asian and black gangs from across the city will turn up for a piece of the action and it's all gonna kick off. I'll be very surprised if it doesn't! Apparently they are putting up big metal barriers in the city centre to try and contain it.
Nightmare!
By the way people, check out the Grabbit Board tonight - lots of good stuff on there!

When the BNP come on our street, they all run away. Its quite funny, well for me it is.
I live on a very multicultural street, area as whole. so whenever they start coming near my neighbours chase them off its class. Doesn't help when they ask my heritage, em irish, whats your surname mccleary. Me:- ah well you should go back home mate, you can get a flight for £18 back to dublin. They sure as hell don't like me.
silaqui that's what it was like in Newcastle back in July, i just avoided it like the plague. so no day trip out for me and the boys.0 -
