  • Funny you should mention caring Psycho - I've been looking at that as someone I know has just started doing it. It's where you go to their house (hours to be arranged) and take them out/shopping, just sit with them and chat, whatever they want to do really. Now I could do the chatting bit no problem lol. It won't be on the same money as I am now but at least I wouldn't be sat in an office with 2 biatches like I am now!!!

There is biatches anywhere you work but the talking would be very easy :D Unfortunately I wont be talking, she is bedbound and I have to make sure she moves every 30-60 minutes so she doesnt stiffen up, but she has a very specific routine to try and minimise pain. It's fairly easy, just dull and horrible to see someone in so much pain.

AAww poor thing that must be really awful. The caring job I'm thinking of is where they have learning disabilities and just want to be taken out etc. I don't think I could do what your doing, I'd get upset.

The 2 in my office (there's only 3 of us) grew up together!:( One of them isn't too bad, it's the other one, I can't stand her and call her the posioned dwarf at home :D she's nasty to everyone and I've heard her calling other people that have just walked out of the office 2 seconds earlier!! I always feel my ears burning when I walk out lol!

  • Where you going on holiday COMP?

Isle of Wight :o I've been there pretty much every year since I was a little girl. This year's a little more MSE though, as my parents have just bought a place over there so accommodation is free :D
Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP
(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)

£7 for me today please Booby split between e-bike fund and VSP - thanks for all your counting up this month - you're a star :staradmin

Psycho - if you ever need to offload or ask advice please feel free - have been working in / managing care services, mainly with older people, for 20 years so may be able to help out - it is very rewarding but incredibly hard work both physically and emotionally :) / :(

Well done on the additional payment newmum1, hopefully that will 'calm your brothers anxieties' for a while - after all he can't have what you haven't got :o

Welcome to Andy for tomorrow - fingers and toes at the ready?:p

    Hi everyone!

£10 for me today please Booby, hope you have enjoyed your counting month! I'll have to do my time soon I guess but every time I offer someone jumps in front of me! I can't do October but I'll offer for November if it's of any use?

First day back at school today, it's like riding a bike amazing how fast you get back into it! No kids until Thursday though so a little bit of breathing space before then :)

I am currently sorting out my finances again, need to renew my car insurance so have done a comparison and will go through a cashback site for an extra bonus. Problem is I find that the actual quote from the company is often different from the comparison site?

Right off to do some online grocery shopping, some budgeteering, and update my sig and things! See you all later xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o
