Same story here.
The email only came in at 11.21 this morning, and given the different wording in some of the emails sent, I am wondering if the company have jumped on the mistake and it took them a while to decide on how best to deal with getting out of it..if indeed thats what they are trying to do.
I mailed the company also asking for an explaination as to the product being available at the higher price when I checked over the weekend and as late as yesterday afternoon.
I also pointed out that I would be watching the site...as the product according to them is now 'discontinued' they won't be able to sell it again...and other companies will also be unable to gain supplies. It would be bad PR if they were caught to be fibbing.0 -

HI All
After E-mailing HMV in the week, telling them how dissapointed i was with them, and suggesting they offer us the platinum edition that they "were" advertising, to save their, good/bad, companies name.
Recieved another e-mail off HMV today saying once again how terribly sorry they were, but hey guess what?
You guessed right :-) they no longer able to get the platinum edition either, this now is advertised as unavailabe, how quickly they managed to change that one to unavailable ay?0
