Had my OR interview yesterday too. Got nervous at first as my OR was off sick so had someone I hadn't spoken too before who sounded quite stern but once we started he was absolutely lovely!!! Gave me no grief, I still managed to trail off topic and end up in tears but only as I was reliving horrible stuff from last few years. He was really understanding and even made a few jokes to lighten the tone!
Looks like they won't go for an IPA even, he reckons I just need to wait for discharge so fingers crossed creditors don't make my life hell. Only bit that made me laugh was trying to summarise how I got into such a state in a dozen words or so - has anyone been able to do this? Is it ever that simple?
All my worries about Brighton were false too, I got my coop account card through this morning, me and mum did a little dance in the garden. Having a viable bank account -Such a small thing that so many take for granted but it means so much. No more vacant stares when you can't produce a bank statement as proof of address!. After years of hell and feeling like a sub human I actually feel like I am rejoining the human race. Glad I went through it though as I know I will never ever get myself in a situation like that again.
Still don't feel relieved though - don't think I will till discharge. I keep waiting for a creditor to kick up a real stink or the OR to call back and tell me they've changed their minds and they are going to keep me in the register til the end of time! Does that go away? Still feel a constant undertone of worry.:o0
