  • Hi,

I went BR on Aug 19th - thought I'd give you a little update. I had to wait until mid-Sept for my OR interview - that time was the worst yet.

My interview was over two hours long but had a lot to go through as I have a flat I rent out.

Since then I have heard nothing at all which is making me nervous! None of my creditors were notified, at first I ignored them hoping the OR would tell them soon but in the end I decided to tell them all in the hope they would stop ringing and they have.

I got paid today and no sign of a nil-tax code, I need to make a payment for my car and will have a hefty IPA but again, haven't heard anything - I just want to get on with my IPA now.

Also, my biggest concern about everything was fessing up to my BF about my situation. I sat him down and told him everything. As you can imagine he wasn't best pleased about the deceit but he has being amazing since and last week he proposed!

Just wanted to share some happy news when we're all going through hard times.

Sure you can imagine my emotions are all over the place but so far BR has been the best thing I've done, I'm not lying to anyone anymore and feel a weight has been lifted. And everyone on here has helped me get to where I am now.
