I have never had a problem with Ryanair but I thought they operated on a system of the earlier you book the cheaper the flight.
I booked a flight on 26 June 2010 and it cost £32
My cousin booked same flight last night and it cost £26
Whinge over
If the flight went up in price after you booked, would you expect to pay the difference?0 -

I doubt prices will come down as I think its the only direct flight from UK.(they pulled the Edinburgh-Zadar route b4 the first flight had even taken place)
With extras such as card fees, luggage + seat scramble a +£250 fare does not make Ryanair good value imo.
If you are flexible and willing to go via Zagreb or Frankfurt, then https://www.LastMinute.com have some schedule full service flights around those dates at £200 ish
get a fair fx card to avoid card fees, take hand luggage only (its summer how many clothes do you need, and sun cream is available in Croatia) seat scramble well that's just part of the fun. :-)e ryanair sales tend to be 2 - 3 months before departure i would wait a little until the sale prices are displayed. Also worth checking Wizzair although they dont fly to Zadar they do fly Luton to Split and ferry's a frequent along the coast0 -

Yes I know all that kutereba. I fly with Ryanair regularly Thats ok for a tenner flight or likes of. but when you are paying +£250 base price per flight then you really want a bit of service.0 -

I wouldn't lose much sleep over 'losing' 6 quid in the context of getting a flight for £32!0 -
You could try flying to Split instead and getting a car and driving to Zadar or maybe there may be a ferry. Or Rijeka but travelling down to Zadar using the same options. They are both closer than Zagreb. I lived in Zagreb for 2 years and during July/August the roads are rammed with everyone driving to the coast so expect to be sitting in 5km tail backs to get through tolls/tunnels along the way. Croats tend to have 4 weeks off during these 2 months and spend it at the coast along with the Hungarians, Italians, Austrians and Germans who all drive there for extended holidays.
The prices generally do shoot up during Jul/Aug so you will be looking circa £200pp unless you are lucky - sorry. This is why we never went back to the UK in the summer."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
I was looking at going to Majorca in September from Prestwick. I don't know whether to book now or wait and see if prices come down any. I have looked at other airlines from Glasgow however they are all much more expensive. Any advice appreciated as this is my first time booking a holiday independently. I have already seen the accommodation I want and will book this direct with hotel.0

Compare the Sept prices to mid May and June.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

i booked last night via travelrepublic which uses ryanair on my occasion of travel and was actually cheaper than ryanair online
then i thought i would check travelrepublic again and prices went up straight after
Have you done this before? Is it reliable?
I understand that Ryanair has a policy of not authorising any other parties to sell their flights, and reserves the right to cancel any bookings made via 3rd parties. Personally I'd be very cautious of using travelrepublic to book Ryanair flights.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0
