Thanks for this, we are going to Tenerife at Christmas, flying Thomas Cook so not too generous on the hold luggage, I didn't realise Tenerife had special tax status and the whole island would be duty free.:j

I have fond memories of the prices in Gibraltar when we were there - we still have a bottle of whisky we bought because it had the same name as our surname - at £3 a bottle it wasn't really a hardship, and made an unusual keepsake
