MBNA Faster Payments

Don't bother paying in to the Co-Op, it WILL TAKE at least 3 working days to hit the MBNA account even if you pay it before 4pm.

You will need to be registered for Telephone Banking or Internet Banking to do a faster payment to your Card

You will need:

1) Your Full MBNA Credit Card Number
2) The MBNA Bank Account: 7******5 (on back of statement)
3) MBNA Sort Code 0****0 (on back of statement)

You'll need to transfer the funds direct from your bank account to the MBNA - Important: Use your MBNA Credit Card as your reference number so the correct account number is credited. Only problems are you need to be registered for internet/telephone banking first and also for some reason although it says Faster Payments are credited same day it still says allow 4 business days for payments (confused).

Thanks Tescomilk, I have just spoken to lloyds by phone and set up telephone banking. Paid the bill there and then and she confirmed that it would go via fps. So fingers crossed. Why do all the other banks have problems with this simple transaction? Some said that it was only for so's and dd's. Thank you.
