    Evening All

Late post for me... today just seems to have run away with me...

    I have/will:

Contacted friends via free texts/e-mail rather than phone
Contacted old friend from work for a catch up... long time no see, and they e-mailed back with their news which was great :D
Borrowed car seat from friend for DD from 9 months which will last until she's 4, saving about £100
Took some other borrowed baby thing back to above friend
Resisted cook book at WW despite it being in sale :A
    Tea from meal plan/stores
    washing on low/ dry inside
    Quick clean round
See if I can fix hoover
    Check banking

Think that's about it, early night tonight as went to cinema last night to see Inception, very, very good if anyone wants a good film to watch.

    'see' you tomorrow x

    Morning everyone! :hello:

Money withdrawing day today – still had £15 left over from last week! Woohoo! Only need enough to get me to Friday, which is PAYDAY!!! :j I still have rather a lot of money left in my bank account too, which is fab – it’s all going on the credit card at the end of the week! :T Today I’m doing my grocery shopping, hoping to go up at lunchtime first and get the Whoopsie meat, then bring it back down to the office and put it in the fridge. Then I’ll go back up after work and do the rest of the shopping. You see, I went up last week at lunchtime to have a look at what was Whoopsied but then I left it until after work to actually buy. MISTAKE! There was hardly any of the good stuff left, so I have learnt my lesson! This week is a two phase shop!

    On my list today….
    • Check online banking
    • [STRIKE]Do grocery shopping[/STRIKE] More bargain hunting!
    • [STRIKE]Withdraw money to do me until Friday[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Top up Oyster card[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Bring lunch from home[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Call bank with hubby’s details[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check how many Advantage card points I have[/STRIKE]
    • Write out meal plan
    • [STRIKE]Drink free tea from work[/STRIKE]
    • Check when library books have to go back
Sounds good, OliveOyl! :) Looking forward to it!

That’s all I can think of for the moment! I hope everyone has a great day!

    Jo

Hmmm, got some more items done but not all - had a manic day today in work and the day just sort of got away from me! Oh well, at least I got the grocery shopping done :)

Just been for a long walk with DS and my dog through the woods... was really nice. DS can complain occasionally (he's 4) on walks but he didn't tonight... just had a great time :)... and we saw 2 red squirrels and 2 deer :)

    • [STRIKE]charging phone at work[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]check on-line banking[/STRIKE] not good, overspent by about £100 so far and still a week to go until pay day :(
    • [STRIKE]check surveys[/STRIKE] none
    • [STRIKE]need to buy 2 birthday cards so look in cheap card shop at lunch time[/STRIKE] bargain!! got 7 for £1 so the next few birthdays are covered :)

thanks for so many great ideas! I need to keep coming on here to stiffen the sinews and get back to proper MSE habits, have slipped badly lately as OH spends so much it hardly seems worth being thrifty :-( but no good if we're both at it!
