I've used Owners Direct for villa holidays in several countries - always got lovely places at reasonable prices

Jut looking to rent at the moment.
Going to do it as a trial run for a couple of years, so we can save up enough to buy.
but thanks for the offer:rotfl:0 -
I dont know if you are looking for a villa for a holiday or long term rent. The accommodation seeking site you mentioned is good. I have used the site myself in the past for holiday bookings. Fear of being ripped-off is only natural.
If you are thinking of renting long term, I would suggest private booking which usually works out much cheaper. But, you would have to make contact with home owners.
Also, why confine yourself to a villa. Usually, a villa is more expensive. Also, many villas tend to be comparatively isolated. Perhaps a decent apartment (low rise) would work out better. You would have more closer contacts and probably would be nearer supermarkets, shops etc.
Deciding on which area is next, I presume. I would recommend that you visit several sites and size up each to suit your requirements.0 -
I have used http://www.homelidays.co.uk/ a few times without problem. Vast selection of properties in Spain."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
