Since you are not offering any advice at all, I don't see the point of your post other than inflaming tensions.
So perhaps you should stay hidden.

Even more threats and abuse from you. When I offer advice it just gives you more reasons to have a go at me. Why do you not admit why you behave as you do and answer my accusations.
Your advice is not worth the space anyway, you just use it as a cover for abuse.

Threats and abuse. Please underline any word or sentence in my previous post that could be construed as a threat or abuse.

The fact that you are posting under another name could point to the fact that you have been banned and that you were the one posting threats and abuse.

I would suggest that 23n1th thinks a little more carefully before they defend someone who posts only to inflame.

Look again. The accuser is actually the abuser. Just put the Troll on your ignore list, as I have done. They have nothing of value to impart.

Does anyone actually know to which accusations aarrgghh is referring? Why don't they reveal the name under which they posted before, so we can see their real agenda?
Someone else will have to tell me, as I've already put it on my ignore list. Let me know if they actually offer some advice to the OP or whether they are posting to inflame.

Donnie I suggest reading my post, I told aarrgghh to chill out nothing more. My comment about rude people was aimed at no one and everyone, and its true.

I read it.... and stick by what I say. They have nothing of interest to impart and have just come here to inflame. Ignore. :)

Since you have only 2GB of RAM, I don't see the point of your installing a 64bit version. Unless you have a liking for Driver incompatibility.

Not sure as to where you took your advice. Certainly not from this thread. :)
    Hi,

    Thanks ....

I already have Vista 64 bit, which is why I planned on upgrading to W7 64 bit, but having read up on it - suspect I could get away with the 32 bit version.

I also plan on upgrading the RAM by 2gig.

As to driver issues - well not really had any ....

If you are going to upgrade to 4GB then the 64 bit should be of use to you.

As I wrote before, there is no need to purchase Windows 7 for evaluation. So you can try before you buy.

Though since you intend to upgrade anyway, I can say that Windows 7 is definitely an improvement over Vista.
Have upgraded all of my machines with a clean install.
