I have no problem with giving the senders my address, its just that I don't want them delivered to my address because it's part of a surprise for someone I am living with, and so I dont want to give it away as they will get suspicious when i start getting loads of letters. (And before you ask, they always get to the post first because I am always out at that time).
I think PO boxes are for six months minimum...and £60 is expensive to me.0 -

But will your co-habitee not be suspicious that there are NO letters for you during this period? I presume it's an all or nothing service?http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump2?catId=400040&mediaId=48100695

well unless the OP gets a PO box and supplies that exclusively to the sender theres nothing they can do about that
depends what mail you get and your relationship
my partner wouldnt notice what little mail i get0 -
Was just pointing out a possible drawback for the OP's consideration. Didn't expect there to be a sensible alternative!well unless the OP gets a PO box and supplies that exclusively to the sender theres nothing they can do about that

And what's the difference between this and KeepSafe (for which RM charges!)?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Keepsafe sends the mail to address ... eventually....
And what's the difference between this and KeepSafe (for which RM charges!)?
There is no option to collect from a delivery office."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Thanks, the Royal Mail collect will be perfect! Thanks for the help everyone!

You could also use the Poste Restante service which is free

Almost prepared to bet that is no longer the case! the one nearest work is mornings only, even during the week ... If a card is ever left about something which needs picking up (eg on a Saturday), it's usually delivered too late to get there in time!my old DO was open 7am to 8pm weekdays
7-3pm Saturdays
