Wireless cable VM router

Morning All

We need the above , we have VM cable , but i need to pay as little as humanley possible for it.......my boy will connect to it to play online xbox stuff and me and the wife will connect to it to just check online banking etc

Any tips chaps walls ,in case that makes a difference...

Virgin will sell you one for £30 or so, or pop down to tesco and buy a cable router.

You might be able to blag a free one off Virgin, might involve extending your contract?
Bear in mind that with the kids online you might need more download bandwidth.

CCL are a good company and have cable routers starting at £15. Used this company many times and it's always cheap and reliable.

Looking at that one , my laptop isnt wireless , so what adapter do i need ?

It probably even comes with an RJ45 cable.

And that would let my son connect his xbox wireleslly to it ?

Yep, you could have up to four wired devices.

Xbox 360s are not wireless as standard anyway, well the older ones anyway, not sure about the new new ones LOL but it will have an RJ45 socket whatever.

Sorry reading that again, if you deffo have a wireless xbox then you should go for the first one. It will allow both wired and wireless connections so you're sorted :-)

yep , wireless xbox he has ...but what adapter does my laptop need to connect wirelessly to that router? or would i have to be wired to it (not that much of a problem i guess)
