sky+ colour problem

just had sky+ installed on sat , problem is when watching sky the picture seems to black or darker than my freeview , tried to change the settings on my tv but made no difference , i never had sky before , maybe this is normal , maybe im being picky , the question is has anyone else experienced the same problem , and have you and ideas how it can be resolved .

If its sky+ then maybe its the scart lead try moving it about and see if the picture changes.0

sorry should have mentioned i have a sky+hd box , but im not paying the £10 upgrade for hd , i have a sony bravia lcd hd ready tv if thats any help to anyonethankyou0

hi , thanks for the reply, yes its connected to my lcd tv via the hdmi lead that came with the sky+hd box , there are only 3 settings on the hd box , mine is set at medium , if i set it to full , the contrast is to high , its just frustating that the great picture that i have with the freeview in my lcd tv is not being transfered to sky , its a pity there are no more picture settings in the hd box .thankyou0
