I HAVE HAD A LOVELY COLOURFUL 'PCN' FROM EXCEL PARKING FOR BEING PARKED IN THEIR CAR PARK 20 MINUTES OVER A MONTH PREVIOUSLY. I DONT KNOW IF I WAS THE DRIVER (AS MY PARTNER ALSO DRIVES MY CAR AND THE ANPR PICTURE IS RUBBISH)

I IGNORED IT AS PER MARTINS ADVICE COLUMN AND I NOW HAVE THE SECOND NASTY DEMANDING 100 QUID WITH ALL MANNER OF COURT/BAILIFF THREATS ETC.

    SO WOT SHOULD I DO????

Just have a look at this thread to see where you are in their standard letter-chain:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2214803

That's it, nothing else needs to be done. :)

Just look ahead at the next letter now - and play 'snap' when the matching version plops through your letter-box. It's just a scam - exactly like getting a series of phishing emails and you wouldn't dream of replying to them, would you?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I was wondering - if this is the case, does that mean you don't even need to pay for a ticket in these private car parks? (unless they have a barrier of course!)

In reality, not much would happen to you if you didn't.

    Morally, it's up to you.
  • This parking notice is entirely enforceable.

Aside from the armchair lawyer claptrap, if you did exceed the allotted time, then decency demands that you settle this charge, out of respect both for the landowner and the great British motoring tradition.

complete rubbish, which PPC do you work for? You guys must be getting desperate that you must post this drivel on here :D
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Now that part of your latest post (in bold) made me spit my tea out with laughter! :rotfl::rotfl:

Fancy choosing a user name with the word 'Enforcer' in the title as well, LOL! It amuses me that all you PPC knuckle-draggers imagine you are 'real' traffic wardens with 'real' tickets don't you?

Can't believe anyone would EVER aspire to be a traffic warden but you lot do. Lowest of the low.

Is it a 'great tradition' to pay fake charges to companies who provide ZERO service to anyone?

I think the great British motoring public are waking up to your scam pretty quickly - not just through these forums either. IMHO you have brought about your own demise with ridiculously greedy amounts and spurious reasons for issuing your fake PCNs, like overlapping a white line or overstaying by 5 minutes when legitimately shopping in the Centre.

That's what brings most people here - they smell a rat and find out it's a huge scam!
