Other users might like to know that the otherwise excellent escape card, allowing fee-free avoidance of the Ryanair processing fee, has serious flaw. Top-ups can take EIGHT days to be credited to the card. Even by Faster Payments they can take FIVE days. In particular they get stalled at the weekend - two of mine recently made on Fridays were not available for spending until Monday.
This is despite the card issuers claim:

I was going to suggest a Caxton Card, but no doubt you will find something wrong with that as well.:)0

Caxton Card - As Inactive says, you may not be so impressed with that either0

I believe the Caxton Global Traveller card charges a flat fee of £1.50 per transaction on Ryanair.0

I just took cash into the Phones4U shops to load my escape card but obviously not an option for everyone0
