Should I change gas/elec suppliers now ?
I have never changed gas/elec suppliers but seriously considering-currently yearly Gas=£883 Elec=£535
Complication is my husband has started to receive DLA and we are waiting for Warmstart to contact us re loft lagging and more efficient boiler.
Should I wait until all this has been done, which maybe end of year,or go ahead now ?
Anyone any thoughts on this as I am a little unsure what to do?
Many thanks.

Gas & Electricity would be the best place for this.0

Do check one of the comparison sites to see what you can save by swopping. I use U switch. Ive swopped about four times now, its no bother honestly - the new supplier will arrange it all for you.0

Thanks everyone-what I mean is-would it make more sense to change suppliers AFTER the loft lagging and boiler update later this year when we will hopefully be more fuel efficient than we are currently, thus attract a better tariff then, than we would if we changed now.0

MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Go ahead now. Difference in prices at your probable useage [STRIKE]is unlikely to[/STRIKE] will not be significant. Just select a decent tariff for your current (past) useage just now. You only need to be more cautious if you have a very low consumption, which will be unlikely.

I notice on the comparison site Energyhelpline it states the £50 cashback for signing with B Gas Websaver8 is for new BG customers,as we are already with BGas standard tariff for our gas would we qualify for £50 if we sign for Websaver8Dual fuel?
Anyone any ideas.0
