  • Toochoosey - you had me laughing with your shower exploits, thank you so much for sharing with us

I have got exactly NO Flying done for 2 days thanks to:
    - engineering works making my commute longer
    - a leaving do last night (another redundancy)
    - most of this evening on the phone to my family...

Serena I am so sorry to hear about your DS's friend, there are some bits of news that just wind you. This evening my family got in touch about a close relative. It involves a heroin overdose, a life support machine being switched off and a police investigation. Honestly I didn't see this one coming at all.

I really don't know what to say... if it's not finding out nearest and dearest have cancer, friends being made redundant or losing those dear to them, sad news, bad news ... I'm just a bit in awe of it really.

I am however happy to report that my flying lessons are working as my kitchen is still shiny despite a crazy few days. In fact I'm secretly quite proud of my kitchen :T

And that's down to this board, so thank you.

Oh god I really can't be bothered with work tomorrow. Or the bloody tube in this weather.

    FLYing list for tmw
    - hoover downstairs
    - run DW
    - run WM

    Sleep tight all
Proud to be dealing with my debt

    Morning All

It's not raining at the moment although it's very grey so I think I'll risk putting my washing out.

I had a text from Toots too thankfully.

Serena - thinking of you and you DS

London Welshcake - hugs for you too.
juliejim - cubs? in the holidays? We only have Rainbows in term time.

Yes we have cubs and beavers all through the hols. DD and her friend got invested last night.

I feel shattered as I didn't sleep very well last night but hey-ho.

Need to do some ironing today and I've still got bits to sort out from the computer cabinet.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Anyone fancy doing a HHI with me at 7.45? I know it's early - where's Jen? She could join me for an early session.

    Morning

I had a long chat with my friend last night and came away with a plan for glamming up my dress. Did a bit of research on the web and sorted most of DS1's papers for him, but not much else.

    Plan for today:
    finish sorting DS1's papers
    start DW and WM
take DS2 to school - really could get used to this
    get DH to water plants
    get petrol
    day out with DH :D
checking lists for Wed-Fri and decluttering

Will be back later. Have a good day, everyone. x

soappie/juliejim - please pass on my love to toots. xx

london welshcake - I commute too, hate it! Thankfully I can usually avoid the tube (railway and DLR) but neither are air conditioned and at 7 months pregnant with travel sickness it's even less fun than it was before. Thankfully due to pregnancy I can work from home a day or two a week which does help.

I did most of my little list yesterday. The whole place needs a dyson but think DH will do that this weekend. I need to fold up some washing and put it away - have someone coming here for a meeting this am and don't really want my knickers hanging up!! Kitchen worktops also need a wipe over.

serena - how awful, hugs to you all.

    Morning all :hello:

I'm back at work today, so not much happening here flying-wise. I've been having fun with the children instead! We bought a tent, and the children have been playing in it, and sleeping out in the garden. I'm working up to us going camping, which is really NOT the Shattered family's preferred option! We do like our comforts!!! :rotfl:

I'll see you all at the other end of my couple of days at work. Although I may print off the lists for the family to crack on with!! :D
