If your daughter's ill, take her to the GP. Stop making excuses - you'll regret it if she's genuinely poorly.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

I agree that taking her to hospital might be a bit drastic, but if your child is ill, you need to stop faffing and take her to the doctors. Just make an appointment and go.0

I'd go and get her checked out...even if it's just to get blood tests to rule some stuff out. I had an infection earlier this year and was fine one minute, but would have periods of a few hours where I was curled up in a ball in agony
. Got it sorted eventually, but it was hellish. 0 -
Not trying to freak anyone out but has she been to the doctor to check her appendix? Mine "rumbled" on and off for about 3 years before I had to have it out- painful and would irritate me for about 48 hours in one go then nothing for several months or even years.
It is hard to test these out though, keep an eye on it if it does get worse.0 -
I agree, get her checked out by the docs but if she is fine consider the possibility that it is a physical manifestation of a psychological issue. That happens to kids a lot, especially when they feel 'funny' - they may be anxious or depressed or worried about something and unable to clearly identify it.0

I can't believe you're putting off taking your daughter to the doctors because you'll have to walk there at short notice. Have you also considered that it could be something contagious that she may pass on to your mindees?******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

Sounds like she's allergic to you/your OH/your house.
iamana1ias not really sure why i am replying to you as your replys to most posts on this site are usually pointless but i will humour you none the less! I tested the water like i'm sure many parents do..she like i said is fine one minute and not the next and at an age to say whether she is too ill or not and she said she was fine. I was at the party and she appeared fine so didn't worry.
As for the second comment..:rotfl:0 -
Maybe try and keep an eye out on when your daughter is eating and see if it is related to her pains. I had similar symtoms a month or so ago, it first started when I woke up in the middle of the night with a terrible stomach ache, feeling sick and very hot needing to poo alot (sorry 2mi), this carried on for about a week and I kept a little food diary. I thought that I might be developing IBS but touch wood have been fine lately saying that I have cut down on the amount of fruit that I had been eating. I should have went to doctors but I have a little phobia. Hope you feels better soon. Make sure she drinks plently of water.
Thanks. There is no pattern at all with food, drink anything this is what's making i so hard to work out what to do.0 -

I don't recall making excuses up anywhere..at the end of the day she is 11 and able to tell me if she is wanting to see the doc or she doesn't, there is only so much asking i can do..she hasn't wanted to and been ok most of the time so we have left it.0 -

thanks, she walks round fine and then says 'oooh' in a very mild sound and says it is uncomfortable. I have her now booked in at the docs.0
