O2 Charging the wrong amount for my tariff
Options
Hi
I am signed up for o2's 30 per month tariff for 18months. For the past few months my bill has been up and down i.e. around £14, then £20 now £22.
The lady i confirmed my tariff with said my bill would be less the first months or so as i had already partly paid for my first months tariff but it would sort itself out quickly.
I thought after 3 months now surely i would need to pay for a full months usage. I looked at my tariff online today and o2 are charging me £25 p/month. Also my last tariff gave me 40% discount and they still haven't taken this off.
I am wondering now should i alert o2 to this issue or live in ignorance of their mistake!?
I am worried if they do find out i will be hit with a large bill at the end or in the middle of my tariff though?
Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't go out of my way to fix O2's error. I'm sure O2 will fix it somewhere along the line and in the worst case scenario O2 would expect you to pay back the remaining amount owed.
Ensuring that you leave aside (save) the remaining monthly amount (that you should have been paying) each month then I don't see any problems paying it back.0 -
Thank you for your response....from a legal view point. Should i tell them? Or should o2 have their information correct? I've checked my tariff information (the contract they send you after you have signed up) and it does not mention the discount or the fact that they are only charging £25 instead of £300
