Download Limit Calculator?? :/

Hi all,
Just wondering, is it possible to get some sort of download limit calculator? ... I've just gone over to broadband yesterday and im really worried of going over my limit over the month ... as with my old dial-up i could be online 24hrs a day as it was completely unlimited whereas the broadband is not... It would be so helpful if there was a package/software that i could download which could tell me how much of my limit i have used...
If anyone knows of one i'd be ever so greatful if you could let me know.
Thanks

google: netmeter - 1st result - download it... it monitors your data transfer on your computer, and you can see how much you download+upload each day, week, month0

Do you know if that includes browsing, using instant messenger, playing games and reading emails and stuff like that?!
Thank you so much for your help

It should monitor all packets (information) sent and received via broadband.LittleStar wrote:Do you know if that includes browsing, using instant messenger, playing games and reading emails and stuff like that?!0 -

NetMeter for me also, it seems to do everything I need, you can set an alarm for when you get close to using up your download limit.I love my spell checker, it stops me making all sorts of stupid smelling mistakes. :doh:0

Why should you have trouble with a piece of software simply because it's a couple of years old? It is a great program and all that it does basically is monitor your network bandwidth. I have never had any problems with it over the last couple of years. It's not as old as Windoze XP!

Thanks for all your help everyone ... its much appreciated and hopefully it will steer me away from trouble of going over my limit
Thanks again!0 -
very few (do any?) impose their 'limits'. Its not like the old aol tv ad where your connection just stops with a box that pops up. those adds were just to scare you into trusting aol (hahahaha).
who is your provider?0
