We qualify for this but for some reason I think we found it cheaper to stay on the basic tariff. We pay the bill cash when it comes in - maybe the social tariffs require a DD or something ? My last quarter's bill was only £36 so I dont think it will get any lower lol!0

£36 a quarter! that's better than winning the lottery.. i pay over £4K per annum for both gas and electric, it's nearly tipping us over the edge.0

Ahhh but you dont want to know what we pay in coal & calor gas ! LOL !0

how come??:eek::eek::eek: do you have a huge house?
my last quarterly electric bill (march, april, may) was £86 (£136-£50 disability deduction).
my heating is electric, so that bill was for both normal electric and heating.
1 bedroom house.
southern electric gave me a disability winter discount of \£50 for disability/benefits and the have other social tariffs too.2 esa medicals passed successfully (support group - it can be done!!)!! :j0 -
I went through EBICO 4 years ago. They're a sort of umbrella group that look for the best social tariffs in your area. Sorry, don't have linky but you could probably just type it into search engine for more info.0

Some tariffs are aimed at people on low incomes with disability premiums; and others are aimed at people who need to use more water, electric or gas due to disability.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
