Wishing you every bit of luck possible with your journey Taxi, I tend to lurk on here and ond't post as much as I should, but I often think about you and your situation, sending you much love xxMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000
Mortgage Overpayments Pot £9470 -
I'm on the challenge to clear it by dec 2012 so will beat that one..where as a few months ago I thought I wouldn't.Things change all the time.
There is nothing to cut back on on my household budget but am going to get quotes from local garages for car servicingas I use the main dealer and they are around £200 + and we have 2/3 year so can probably save money there.
So as long as we don't need to replace the car in the next couple of years we'll be well on the way. Will also look to see if any other business expenses can be cut but doubt it.0 -
Thanks everyone..benben don't lurk ...post as I won't bite x0

Glad you have faith in me..lol
Nobody ever knows whats around the corner...lol
Well we are round the corner- cheering you on:D:D:D:D:D:j I think it is very doable and don't forget to use ISA's etc to maximise interest. I often ponder about the odd foray into shares and whatnot as well. You never know indeed:D:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
I have the money in Halifax extra accounts as they were paying better than isas but am toying with the idea of lloyds vantage accounts.
IT's no use putting the money into the offset as my mortgage rate is only 0.99%.0 -

Hi Taxi
Noticed you talking about all things organic and wondered if you had got round to trying Soap Nuts yet for your laundry. A free sample (well cost of an envelope and large stamp) can be obtained here: http://www.inasoapnutshell.com/id20.html
