    Thanks am thinking 18 months to 24 months for clearing mortgage..don't know whether that's a little ambitious considering I'm off work for the forseeable future...but I'll give it my best.

    I think that is doable-given your track record on debt busting:D:T

    It's very scary figures to do in 18months but may be achievable in 24 months.I need to put £300 per week into savings to do it in 18 months or £200 per week in savings for 24 months as well as pay the other household bills.
  • I wouldnt put a bet against it Taxi :D

    Taxi - everyone has woobly days. LOL I can wobble over meaningless nothings, as you have witnessed. I think you are perfectly at liberty to wobble any time you wish, but like all webbles that wooble, you never fall down!

    Mortgage - wouldn't surprise me if you pull it out of the bag in 17 months :)
    LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.
    (CC/LOAN = [STRIKE]36,378.98[/STRIKE] 35668.47. O/D = [STRIKE]1255.32[/STRIKE] 1212.35/[STRIKE]1999.78[/STRIKE] 1934.52, BUS = [STRIKE]9769.76[/STRIKE] 8714.98)
    Challenge = Debt at 31/01/12 = £25k. 2011 Payments = £1,944.19/£24,403.84

    There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!
