You lot are certainly wise owls...housework and accounts can be done another day.The trouble is I can always find loads nicer things to do than those...lol.

I'm excited about the Kindle as I bought it for myself out of the savings from stopping smoking as a reward for stopping smoking and then for DH to give me the cash back for it and to buy the case, headphones and a light for it was amazing.
I find it hard to get to sleep at night so thought it would come in handy for reading in bed. It's also handy for holidays, waiting around in dentists, hospitals etc and it also has text to speech so think that could be good on a long journey when I'm by myself...so I can see me getting plenty of use out of it.It's due to arrive before 1pm tomorrow and it is already registered on my Amazon account...so quite excited.

Kindles are a brilliant idea! I have the kindle app on my laptop, but I will buy one eventually.

Taxi - you're still very early for the accounts, please don't worry about them. You have a holiday really soon!

Have decided to leave the accounts until back from my break...can't wait to go away as think I could do with the break.

The Kindle arrived and I'm really pleased with it and have been playing with it all day...LOL...have now got 25 books on it to go at and will do some more another time.I like the text to speech feature and that will come in handy in the car.I haven't discovered everything yet I don't think.

The next few days I'm just going to chill out and pamper myself

Happy new Kindle to you Taxi -That's on my wish list too
You can "loan" books between kindle users I believe -so that might be a good MSE ploy ;) I use the kindle program on my laptop (not as nice as the real thing as harder on the eyes and bulkier) and love the amount of free books around.

Lost 1.5lbs at WWs today so quite happy with that.

Then I went to subway and treated myself to lunch which was nice.Am tired today so have just done stuff on the computer.I have my bag to pack yet and some washing to do but not much else.
When checking banking the other day I noticed I had a guaranteed CC on there so applied and was approved with a massive limit....it has 0% BT but I;ve nothing to BT and 0% on purchases for 13 months.I have no intention of getting in debt again but will be handy for emergencies or any big items needed with the 0%

Is it expensive to buy the books for the kindle Taxi? When they first came out I thought 'what next - books will have to be better' but I am fast coming around to the idea.

    Enjoy your break Taxi :)
